Napa County, Doing Farmworker Housing Right

In this video created by Napa County,  CHD’s Angel Calderon takes you on a tour of River Ranch—one of three farmworker housing centers for seasonal laborers in Napa County. Where once these farmworkers camped in makeshift tents along the riverside or adjacent to fields, now they have warm beds, showers, and meals.  A per acre subsidy paid by growers and modest per night fees paid by the workers make these centers possible—creating a model solution to farmworker housing!

A Sweet & Savory Story of Success!

This video by Petaluma Pie Company shows why we insist on lowercasing the “dis” and augmenting the “ABILITY” in our disABILITY Services program. So proud of our clients and grateful to community-minded folks like Petaluma Pie for employing them and being committed to their success. Thank you!
