CHD manages three housing centers for unaccompanied farmworkers in Calistoga, St. Helena, and Napa. The centers feature 30 bedrooms housing two residents each. They have centrally grouped restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, pay phones, and offer recreational activities. Meals are served in a large dining room. Each center closes temporarily during the winter months, but the closings are staggered to ensure at least one remains open.

Filipino Center Plaza, Stockton
People of all ethnicities and ages live at this 10-story downtown complex featuring 128 homes ranging from studios to four bedroom apartments, as well as a vibrant commercial hub with a Filipino deli and a bakery, among others. Residents can visit the computer-learning center, obtain transportation to doctor’s appointments and shopping, and participate in programs such as healthy eating, blood pressure checks, martial arts classes and meal delivery.
Turning Point Commons, Chico
Spacious lawns and beautiful oak trees are the backdrop for this affordable apartment community in Chico. Seniors, adults, and families share the complex, which features 66 apartment homes of one to four bedrooms. Approximately one-third of the units are set aside under Section 8 with low-income tenants paying no more than 30% of their adjusted income for rent.
