FOR SENIORSParkway Plaza, Fairfield
This gated, active senior community features 99 one-bedroom apartments designed for independent living. Residents enjoy beautiful lawns and gardens, their own gardening plots, a community room with billiards, barbecue facilities, and secure parking. Parkway Plaza Residents have access to several supportive services, health, and wellness activities to help eligible individuals participating in affordable housing remain in their apartments and age in place. – APPLY
Family Centers
Mahal Plaza, Yuba City
Extensive lawns, recreation facilities, a playground, a childcare center, plus private patios and yards make these two, three, and four-bedroom townhomes a comfortable setting for families. – APPLY
Aytch Plaza, Kelseyville
These two, three, and four-bedroom air-conditioned houses are widely spaced on a 2.2-acre fenced property. Built on a slightly rising slope, they offer beautiful views of Lake County’s surrounding mountains. – APPLY
Farm Labor Centers
Calistoga, St Helena, Napa
CHD manages three housing centers for unaccompanied farmworkers in Calistoga, St. Helena, and Napa. The centers feature 30 bedrooms housing two residents each. They have centrally grouped restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, payphones, and offer recreational activities. Meals are served in a large dining room. Each center closes temporarily during the winter months, but the closings are staggered to ensure at least one remains open.
