CHD Immigration Specialist Earns Accreditation
Victor Farfan Gains Partial BIA Accreditation
Excellent news in the mail today from the Department of Homeland Security. CHD’s Victor Farfan is being granted partial Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accreditation from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The good news follows a rigorous application, inquiry and review process. The accreditation means Mr. Farfan is approved to practice immigration law as a non-lawyer while employed by California Human Development or another “approved organization.” With partial accreditation, he may now represent CHD’s immigration clients before the Department of Homeland Security (but not the Executive Office for Immigration Review). Farfan has worked under the guidance of CHD’s fully BIA accredited immigration expert Kathy Differding since June of 2015, assisting many dozens of immigrants to pursue a variety of immigration pathways. With Farfan’s new accreditation, CHD’s immigration services division is poised to build upon its already excellent, 25-year track record of delivering highly effective legal services at significantly lower cost to clients.
